the.rampage.rado
Topic title says it all. How long until 1.5.4 release? We saw lots and lots of improvements in github and this makes me think it would be better to start from 1.5.4 not to upgrade 1.5.3.1 store (upgraded from 1.5.1). Any template issues currently present in the following 1.5.4 release or it will be 1.5.3.1 theme compatible?
Kogkalidis
We don't want 1.5.4 .... Better work with a previous one and make your own improvements, cause when the party of 1.5 begins, we stop laughing B U G S For example the "messiah" 1.5.3.1 was full of bugs (own experience: bug on the cart, combining 2 carriers in the same order the shipping cost was different.. However in the 5 sandbox orders I had the same products in my cart
Trip
If you don't want it you don't need to upgrade. When I look, as rado said, on github I would feel a lot better to start off with a new version than fixing all the stuff by hand they commited already. But as I downloaded and tested a dev version from github yesterday my sad impression is, it will not happen to soon. the.rampage.rado
If it gets preinstalled by PS team and then gets close beta testing as 1.4.10 currently undergoes it would not have the initial problems of 1.5.3 Otherwise I don't what you mean by 1.5.3.1 bugs - It appears OK to me It's not 'bug-free' but it working-lish. Carolina Custom Designs
Most probably will be 31st of February 2013. What calendar are you using? Or was this posted 'tongue-in-cheek'? Marty Shue

Trip
Deleted or not, the question remains. Do you have any sources that a new version is coming soon. I mean I am thinking of upgrading and usually this takes 1 or 2 days untill everything is working. So it there is a new version coming soon I would not like todo go through the process 2 times. Best regards, trip I have tested all the versions of 1.5 and my favorite one is NOT 1.5.3.1 as many guys claim.. First of all 1.5.2 and then 1.5.0.13 or RC1... The latest one (1.5.3.1) has a TERRIFIC bug on the cart, when you have more than 1 carriers in the same order the mess is worse than the greek economy...!! And because of the messiah mood that the marketers of Prestashop were trying to make us feel for every 1.5 new version, despite the fact that it was solving some bugs, it was creating some others (some times more serious).. For this reason I am not waiting for 1.5.4 (at least for production use) and I choose 1.5.
Trip
As I posted a couple of seconds ago They only reason I want to upgrade to 1.5.X.X, it the multishop feature. I tested that maybe 100 times and still there are at least annoyences. After all what I want todo I feel not very confident with the current behaviour. Already post a lot of bug reports. Unfortunatly the problem is not solved so far. Ok is it marked solved but the bug is still there. I am talking abbout http://forge.prestas...owse/PSCFV-7383 So we have different problems here. I would not upgrade as I would not need desperatly a running multishop setup. Waiting over a year now for that and still it feels sloppy. I will not upgrade untill I am convinced this is running 100% as expeted and in regard of that I acutally do not want to use 1.5.2., 1.5.3 or whatever version when I already know that it is not working. Maybe this is the difference between the early adopters and me. I have the boring and annoying process of test installing and checking every feature I need. Downtime and bugs on my life shop are not an option for me. Best regards, trip
goodboy88
As of now over 400 bugs had been fix. Hope this release will fix all the critical problem.
the.rampage.rado
Hope they have progress on site-stoppers like paypal's problem with 'unsupported currencies' and such. Because the minor 'here-n-there' fixes I notice in BO are not relevant to the site usability. WE NEED MSRP field !!! This is simple and can be updated in all themes in just 5 minutes. This IS A MUST!!!

Online Office USA
The bugs aren't fixed in any of the previous versions! Who in the hell is excited about yet another version? Change the name to Bugashop 1.0 and be truthful.
bsm
Yes solved.. Version 1.5.2.. Ask for info.. What's your problem exactly? version 1.5.3 two carriers: - one (post) for small packages up to 2 kg - second (courier) for bigger parcels - from 2kg up shipping prices depend on weight Everything work correct when cart include items sending thru one carrier (only for courier or only for post). But when you add to cart one bigger item (5 kg) and one small (0,20kg) - the shipping price should be as for courier up to 6kg (19 euros) , but the price is 88 euros! no ideas how is this counted? I'm still using presta 1.4.9 - and the shipping is set exactly the same way and work without problems... Is that one more bug? multi-shop is on advanced stock management is on warehouses added zones, countries, etc. done any ideas? thanks

Kogkalidis
version 1.5.3 two carriers: - one (post) for small packages up to 2 kg - second (courier) for bigger parcels - from 2kg up shipping prices depend on weight Everything work correct when cart include items sending thru one carrier (only for courier or only for post). Is that one more bug? multi-shop is on advanced stock management is on warehouses added zones, countries, etc. done any ideas? thanks The 1.5 version has a brand new feature that affects post calculations.. You can link one carrier for some products and another for the rest.. Because you have one range till 6 kg and 2 products with total 5.2 kg you have to connect them with the appropriate carriers, otherwise only one carrier fee will be calculated.. But still 1.5.3 has problem on my pc.. 1.5.2 works fine with this.. I hope it helps
