So i looked for reasons Found it. incredably the OFFICIAL prestashop template has more bugs than an alley cat Firstly when you go to page to add date of birth etc, the text is same colour as background. ????? WTF? Same with other drop down select menus on their. It also runs much slower than other prestashop versions, if it went any slower it would be going back in time. Especially in front javascript. However i would first go in BO to edit the only active country you let active (england afaik) , and un check 'this country uses states'. However the real issue is the problem with text. It does not show up against the white boxes as text is white also. Honestly when you pay that much money for themes you expect them to work properly. Thats a school boy error and unforgiveable. I also purchased for correct version and have not updated as that could cause issues. Thats another problem, if anyone is thinking about purchasing a template, it only lasts a few weeks. I am on my third template now, the others become useless each time prestashop gives a new version which happens several times a year. pyrotech Posted February 18, 2013 Author Share Posted February 18, 2013 So it seems prestashop sold a theme that does not work and do not know how to fix a basic part like text colour in select boxes. They also can not tell you if a site can be upgraded to latest version or not without harming a theme you purchased off them. Thats extremely poor, and no one wants to put this right. 3 months had this issue with text, and 3 years the issue with themes on 3rd theme now. £106 for a new theme each time that is only good for few weeks, thats if it ever works at all, latest one is out of date and never worked.
