Category Description Alongside Category Image?

I have category images set up and would like to add a description to appear above the product list of each category.

 

Is there a way to have the category description to be placed next to the category image rather than underneath it? All I can do in the category.tpl is to move the description either above or beneath the image. I can't find a way to put it alongside the image.

 

Can it be done?

 

Examples below - first image is what is happening and the second image is what I would like to achieve.

I guess you should try to modify some source code, but without sufficient knowledge, I wouldn't have done it myself.

I'm using version 1.5.3.1 and I'm using a theme by Presatdesigner but I have changed some of it.

okay, so, in first post you said that you want to change categories display method, now you pasted url to the product list.

So what you exactly expect? modification for categories, or modification for products?

The category image & descritption above the product list. Ideally, I would like the category description to be positioned alongside the category image, rather than underneath it.
