dagnez
Hi! I have been doing some research on which ecarts are ranking high in Google results, and to be honest, I didn't find one Prestashop in first 20 results for several different branches. They were mostly Zen and Magento. What is your experience? How high do you rank? Share your success story if you are in top10.
Dh42
Ranking all depends on the keywords being searched. I have several clients ranking in the first 5 positions on serp. It all is about the keyword and what you are targeting. Prestashop is not the most SEO friendly platform, but on that token no e-commerce platform is. You kind of have to know what you are doing with it. I see several things you can do on your links in your footer to increase your results and move up in the rankings. If you want I can give you suggestions I would do for your site.

Dh42
I think you are confusing rankings with how many pages are indexed in google.

lynn.chris9
I'm sure presta is SEO friendly, if it's not working for them then they should invest on Social Media to attract traffic. End of the day all people doesnt use Google, if we can me the customer return for another purchase then we will be successful.

SchmitSamie
Well i would say that Positioning a site .. . . . totally relies on the search phrases being explored. I have several customers ranking in the first 5 roles on core. It all is about the keyword and key phrase and what you are focusing on. Prestashop is not the most SEO helpful foundation, but on that symbol no e-commerce foundation is. You type of have to know what you are doing with it. . . . . .researching, defining, and building your brand through marketing | business branding | Welcome to a new way of handling your business subscribe for daily newsletter Edited October 10, 2013 by SchmitSamie (see edit history)

FME_Modules
On which keywords you have made your research? Because your research is contradicting to my personal experience. All ecarts have some Pros and cons so does the prestashop has but its SEO features are never the less. It all about how do you use those features. nelsonn
Submit your site to specialized directories. For instance, a work at home mother owned business (WAHM) should submit her site to WAHM directories. A site on butterflies should be sent to biology or entomology directories. This would surely help in increasing rank. _________________________ SEO Consulting Company Edited May 5, 2013 by nelsonn (see edit history)
