Whispar1
I can't seem to figure out this behaviour. I have looked everywhere in the BO for a settig but I must be blind. On this page (which is a sub-category of designer bedding) http://69.36.191.225...roller=category The blocklayered shows the catalog options (attributes) However on this page: http://69.36.191.225...roller=category It does not show the catalog options (attributes) which I would like to be shown. The only difference is the second link is the main category with no subcategories. Other then that, this page and the subcategory page for bedding both have products with attributes. What am I missing? Thanks for any input. Screen Attached Edited February 18, 2013 by Whispar1 (see edit history)
PascalVG
Just looking at it, and only thing I can think of are the obvious ones. Re-index entries, selected categories not set to 'All' (or not selected all wanted categories in the selection list, but just category 9) etc. I'm afraid you did all of those already... Looking at your site, there's only 1 category (category '9') that gives the selection filter. Even it's 'siblings' don't give them... I'll look further. Anyone else ideas?? PascalVG
I see you use a non-default theme. Can you try if it works with the default one?
Whispar1
Thanks for the reply PascalVG - and yes I have gone into BO and reset associations, categories, etc.. but no change. Here is a demo of the theme I am using http://24x7themes.net/prestashop/trendy/index.php Each of the categories in the demo have the attribute menu. I'm concerned about switching to the default theme to check. Last time I did that it cause lots of problems and I ended up having to reload the theme. Whispar1
I now have the solution if anyone runs into this in the future. I went into the configuration settings of the layered navigation block, chose the current themplate and edited what is shown. For some reason it only had one category checked (category 9). I still don't know what triggered the shop to check that category and not the others but suffice it to say, this is where you can change what is shown.
