mag80
Hi everyone, I noticed a small bug in layered navigation module in my presta 1.5. For instance I got one t-shirt available in store in 2 sizes : 1pcs in size L and 1pcs in size XL. One customer buys t-shirt size L and this size is no longer available. Another customer is using layered navigation module in front office to see all t-shirts size L and the sold one is still shown in search results. I can't find a way to get rid of it and this is very frustrating for customers to see products that are not available for sale in their search results. ps. I tried to change product preferences - Display unavailable product attributes on product page - to "NO" and it only works if you browse products manually. It does not affect results of layered navigation module at all. Can someone advice on this one please?
Tomin
I think you need to rebuild index for layered navigation. Look at these cronjob links and add them on server according your needs
the.rampage.rado
This is because the new indexation is not completed. So make daily cron job and you'll see this bug fewer times.

spaddo
Hi, I have the same problem with layered navigation. This module is very resistent... I did already everything that was mentioned in this thread... Just amazing how many people have problems with this module (there are several entries in the bugtracker)... what is so special about this module? I even increased my php.ini values (mem etc.)... no success unfortunately. Any help would be really appreciated.
mag80
You know that they currently can't be hidden in FO? RIght? I though that your previous post was a solution to this problem, but if for some reason this can't be done, I hope presta team will update this module shortly. Right now this bug is limiting this module's usability to minimum.
Trip
Try enable define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true); in config/defines.inc.php and see it it throws errors. After upgrade i have to reset/uninstall/install the following modules to get rid of missing database field errors. Reinsurrance block - reset loyaltiy points - reset cart block uninstall / install Reinstall block layered maybe reinstall payment modules I do not know why these modules are not resetted by the installer. Maybe PS team can implement that in the future?! I mean the errors are not visible without dev mode enabled but due to missing db fields they can never work propperly so this should be done by the installer. mag80
has anyone found any solution to this problem yet? I am guessing that Layered Navigation Module is very popular from customer point of view and plenty of shops are using it. Anyone?
petert
having immense problems with Layered navigation, but no help what so ever. I think PS 1.5.6 is immature and should not have been released.
