Maury Markowitz
We have a number of products that have lots of parts that only work with those products. So inside Presta, users would normally look for them on a list of that manufacturer's parts. But outside Presta, in Google, they would type in the company name to help Google find it. So the "ACA" might be "Outback ACA". I know that I can use the meta-title to give this product a "proper name", but does that flow through properly into google? Is the meta-title enough to get it ranked? Or should I include the company name right inside the product title? Any other advice greatly appreciated! Dh42
I would do company name, part name, part number for the meta title and yes it will help you get ranked.
Maury Markowitz
I would do company name, part name, part number for the meta title and yes it will help you get ranked. Ok cool, thanks. And for inside the store, do you suggest calling the product "ACA" or "Outback ACA"? In my theme the company name does not appear on the product page. If there is a setting for this or theme I could use that adds the company name to the page, I will leave the company name off the product name. But if this is not easy, I suppose I want to put it in the name.
