Gogsi
Yet again, I am stuck. How do I add an additional tab to an item listing? Currently there are "more info" and "comments" tabs. I need more! Please help! Thanks!

cocothecat
What sort of additional tabs do you need to add? I guess is the question
fixgear
thanks alexander, i had seen all of the add-on modules but they are 30-40 euros and that seems a lot for tabs. cocothecat, all i want is one or 2 more tabs to provide product info in.check out my current shop product page at http://www.fixgear.eu/store/p/44-Camiseta-MMA-Compresi-n-Risas-de-Buddha.aspx and look beneath the images. there are 5 tabs (in spanish). i am moving to prestashop and i only see the "more", "data sheet" and "comments" tab included in the shop software but i would like to add a "in the package" and a "care for your garment" tab so as not to have to put it all in the "more" tab. thanks! jeremy... cocothecat
Do you want those tabs to show for every product or just some? Does the data need to change or not? Nice rash guards btw! Might have to order 1 or 2 would be a little different to the norm in the gym.. Edited March 27, 2013 by cocothecat (see edit history)
fixgear
no, the info will be always the same but it will need to be multi-language supported for english, spanish, french, german and italian as those will be the langs fo my store. the info that needs to change on a per item basis cab go into the already-existing "more" tab. even there most of the info is the same actually but will vary from garment type to type like one "more" description for training shirtsm another different for cycling clothes, etc.. thanks, jeremy... cocothecat
You could hard code the tabs into place and then load or translate the information based on what lang the customer picks. Do you have the information written up in all 4 languages?
fixgear
yes, i have the info but only in english and spanish for now, the other 3 langs would follow later. afraid i'm not a good coder so i'd need to hire someone and surely it would be cheaper to buy one of the additional tabs add-on mods
cocothecat
as long as that offers multi lang support it would be better to pay the £31 yeah. If you want to try it your self and get stuck and need some pointers though PM me
