Maury Markowitz Posted February 8, 2013 Share Posted February 8, 2013 Many of the products in my catalog are "parts", things that are add-ons for a specific set of other products. For instance, we sell fuses and circuit breakers that only fit in a specific model of inverter. I call the collection of inverter and it's parts a "family". When the user goes to look at a list of inverters, I don't want them to see all these parts. I want them to see just the inverters. Those parts should show up either on the product's page, or when the user looks for all products from that vendor. I can think of making an entirely new category, say "parts", and putting them all there. But then I would not want that category to show up in the category list on my home page.
