appliances
Hello everyone, After I regenerated images I have noticed that the new products block on my page is not displaying the thumbnails. All my other product thumbnails are showing normally now, after I changed the permission to 777 and regenerated images. However, the new products block is still not displaying the thumbnails correctly. I didn't have this problem before regenerating images (I needed to add a watermark). My site is live and it makes it look really unprofessional, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys in advance.
Valérie Assetskaya
Hello, Please, provide the link to the store to view the problem. Please, specify what img src is for pictures which are not displayed. Best regards.
PascalVG
Did you already try to add a new product AFTER you regenerated the pics? If so, does this new product's image show normally? I can imagine that a copy of the image is made to the new products module or so, and when re-generating the pics, the ones for the 'new products' are either forgotten, or something goes wrong here. So please check if really new products are shown correctly, to narrow down the search... And as Valerie wrote, a link to your site makes things easier to check, and please mention Prestashop version. My 2 cents, Pascal
appliances
Thank you guys for your quick response. Here is the link to my site. Appliance Nation And I have added many products after I regenerated images and the images and thumbnails all work perfectly except for the new products block. (It also happens to the top sellers block but I don't think I will use it for my site.) I am using prestashop version 1.5.2. Also, how can I find the img src? I appreciate all the help. Valérie Assetskaya
Hello, Your links are http://appliancenation.com/1070-medium_default/general-electric-white-88-cubic-foot-chest-freezer.jpg but they should be http://appliancenation.com/1070-medium/general-electric-white-88-cubic-foot-chest-freezer.jpg without "_default" You may create an other type in the admin panel or delete _default in the template. Best regards.
appliances
Hi Valérie, Thank you for your response, How exactly would I delete _default from the link? And also how to make sure this won't happen for future new products? I appreciate all the help. EDIT: I just found _default, deleted it and now they work! Thank you for your help!
