Nodge
I sell packs of paper and in my catalogue lets say I have an item which is 50 shts priced at £20. I also have a separate item which is 100 shts priced at £38. I'm finding that a couple of customers have bought 2 x 50 shts instead of 1 x 100 shts and so have actually paid more than they need to. So I think I need to rethink how I have organised my catalogue. I think what I need is say one item "A4 Paper" and then a drop down box or something with different quantites/prices so the customer can see exactly what is available. Is this possible and if so how do I go about it? Thanks John
tomerg3
You can set up a different price for the same product based on the quantity. In the product editor look at the "Prices" tab. If you are looking to update many prices at once, you can check out the following module that will import (and export) them from a csv file http://www.prestashop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/152847-module-product-prices-import-easily-update-prices-add-quantity-discounts-from-a-csv-file/
Nodge
Thanks for the reply. Initially I couldn't see a Prices tab but I see now that it only appears after I've saved the item. This doesn't quite solve my problem though. I have options to buy a pack of 20, 50 or 100 shts of the same item so it's not just a case of applying different prices for a different number of pack quantities.
