Eduardoshop
Good morning, I have to show the error in the attachment (image). In my shop I am working with three currencies: Dollar, Euro, Nuevo Sol (Peru's currency). When I make a purchase with coins Euro or Dollar, can not find any problem, the process is successful, even when client data requests to continue the process and I think until the end of the process there is no problem. The problem is when I use Nuevo Sol currency, at the time when I ask for the option and select Paypal payment when you are connecting with Paypal I get the error of the image. What is happening?, How to solve this problem?. My account is verified and associated with an account in dollars in paypal tell me that does not have to be problem shopping with soles. Thank you. Sorry for the English, but I'm using an online translator.
El Patron
paypal does not accept SOL, you must turn off SOL as eligible for paypal, in back office payments.
Eduardoshop
Thank you very much, but I have the Paypal obcion option checked; customer's currency. So we can say that customers wanting Peru pay with Paypal, they can not do it, because the currency is the Nuevo Sol ... Go system. thanks
Ariadne
sounds like you need to manually select which currencies you will accept paypal for. I do that, and it works fine. If people don't hold a particular currency in their paypal account, most are happy to pay in a currency you accept.

Eduardoshop
I understand what it says, but besides Paypal Customer Currency option, but provides one of the other options, Dollar, Euro, etc. In my case apart from Nuevo Sol, is very important to work with the Dollar and Euro, then as I work with the other work? Thank you. P.S. Another option is to make payment as a warning that the currency Nuevo Sol, can not be processed with Paypal. No you think?
El Patron
Honestly, from an e-commerce standpoint, you know who is first world by what currencies paypal takes. I wish they (paypal) would just convert whatever currency we send to our paypal currency...I mean if they take masestro then take the bloody currency it is in and convert it there... here is a list of accepted currencies, https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/sell/mc/mc_intro-outside
Eduardoshop
I honestly do not know that you can work with all currencies in e-commerce, plus we know that is a big deal foreign exchange, thereby not having all currencies at work earns a lot of money to make changes. In the case of Peru, they will have to pay through Paypal only those with accounts in dollars, but to be quite honest, the economy is growing here that both individuals and businesses prefer to have their money in national currency, before that Dollar or Euro. Well keep the option: client currency restrictions and a statement for those who prefer buying soles, you can not do with Paypal. I want to keep paying with Paypal in Dollar and Euro because I have office in Italy, Spain, USA. so I offer only a platform for my clients payments. Thank you for your help. El Patron
for the SOL, I would look at a local payment gateway, and I'm sure bank deposits are very popular as well.. I agree, and have catered to, S. America...while it may be the forgotten continent, there is gold still left in those hillls...and IMHO it's the next e-commerce bonzaza.... there are payment gateways, pagosonline and others...make sure to look for them... Eduardoshop
Elpatron thank you very much for your help, I plan to work with a gateway as BBVA, now I have my store and I'm PrestaBox more limited in that sense when trying to install modules, since they work with and have seen themselves having a module for BBVA, but it is quite expensive to invest in right now. That payment gateway advise me?. Thank you very much again for your help.
El Patron
I would work with bank deposit for sol, if Peru is like Colombia, that is the most common way to get paid..the real issue you face is using paypal, because you have sol you must force everyone to one currency...I don't think it's a big issue, but it is what it is...take a look at my efecty module, it would not be terribly difficult to build one for Peru but I do not know what different payment (non-cc) that is popular...look for one...you can also modify the bankwire and use that to get started...just limit it to Peru...then later after your business is more mature you can implement one of the more local cc payment gateways...like pagosonline but there are others...they are really expensive compared to say authorize net..but in s. America that will change fast. there is a ton of money to be made in e-commerce in s. America..tons! another good way to learn how people pay is to look at mercadolibre in Peru, see what payment methods (and products) sellers are using... suerte!
