nospario
Hi, I am making changes to a 1.4.6.1 install and I would like to be able to change the menu item title "Invoices" to say "Order Confirmations" in the Back Office. Can anyone explain to me how to go about this? Many thanks in advance. Richard.
clayton29657
Hello nospario the only way I know how to do this is go into back office and find translations tab then here you may be able to change. I am nor certain for sure so please make a back up before trying anything. Good luck Clayton
nospario
Thanks Clayton, looks like I can alter everything but the actual menu titles in the translation section :-(
El Patron
back office-->employees-->tabs be careful what you ask for...if a module at install needs to add an admin tab and they get the tab id by name, then it will not add the tab..
servetsarap
back office-->employees-->tabs be careful what you ask for...if a module at install needs to add an admin tab and they get the tab id by name, then it will not add the tab.. I've tried what you said. I was able to change Dashboard's title but when I'm trying to change others' i get an error. For example when I'm trying to change the title of "Catalog", it says "The class name 'AdminCatalogController' cannot be found." What should I do? I'm using 1.6.1.6 vers. of Prestashop Edited October 15, 2016 by servetsarap (see edit history)
rocky
It's a bug in PrestaShop that prevents the translations of parent tabs from being changed, since they are using controllers that don't actually exist. You'll need to manually edit the ps_tab_lang table in your database to change the translations.
