It is possible to make Prestashop

Hello everyone,

I need to create a store and I am evaluating several tools for creating and managing online shops, and I have some doubts, Prestashop allows:

 

1 .- Will Create multiple stores?

I have to create a shop, and I have distributors in several countries and it is they who put the price of each product, that is a product purchased in Spain may be different than a product in France. Ultimately, I have to create several shops with the same products but with different prices.

 

2 .- Will Create different types of customers?

In other words, I need to sort my clients (individuals, businesses, shops, etc.) to offer different prices for the same product depending on their classification.

I wish that they could register on-line indicating that classification.

 

3 .- shop multi language?

It could indicate in my stores each of their respective languages. For example, Spain, I would like to activate Spanish, Catalan, basque and galician (assuming there are such translations)

 

In short, do Prestshop lets you set various prices according to country and type of user?

 

I hope we can perform those tasks and be able to work well with Prestashop.

 

PS: I have also made such consultation to friends of magenta. Soon I will have to decide between one of the two.

to your questions:

no, PS does not offer multiple stores, but in the future, propably there will be this feature

no, PS does not offer different types of customers, but in the future, propably there will be this feature

 

3 .- shop multi language?

yes, this feature is already implemented, you have to create your languge in "Back Office >> Tools >> Languages" and then traslate it in "Back Office >> Tools >> Translations", but PS v1.0.3 comes i think with like 6 languages, so if one of those is yours, you dont have to translate anything.

 

but, i dont recommend you to run PS store on live website, because there are still many more or less serious bugs. just look at the bug report section.
