joemanfoo
I need to setup a bakery shop. I don't understand how to go about setting up a 3/6/9/12 donuts/cookies/etc box and let people select which donuts they want in the box. Is this possible to do in Prestashop? Thanks in advance for any help...I've searched on Google to see if I could find any hints but didn't get any other than bakery templates.
Guest
You do that with the accessories and values menu (In the product menu). It would work in the same way as colour or size choice
joemanfoo
Hi Haylau, Thanks for the suggestion on where to look but I'm sorry that I still don't get it. Also it appears the version of the software that I'm currently on doesn't have the Accessories menu... From the current documentation though I read from here (scroll down a little to see the accessories info): http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Adding+Products+and+Product+Categories#AddingProductsandProductCategories-ManagingtheProduct'sAssociations I don't see how this applies...as these are suggestions for the customer, not choices to add to their box of donuts. What I'm shooting for is that people select which category they want: donuts, or cookies, or candies. From there they would select the "product" which would be combo boxes of 3, 6, 9 or 12 cookies or donuts or candies. On that product page they would then add 1 or more flavor of item up to the count of box they wanted. So if I selected a 3 count box, then I'd be able to add up to three cookies where I may choose 1 chocolate chip and 2 peanut butter. So I'll also need to limit the number they add to the product - a 3 item combo box shouldn't be able to have 4 items added. Thanks again for the help! joemanfoo
I did find where to do accessories on the version of Prestashop that we've got - and it does just what I thought it would do, its just a listing of available suggestions but not required selections.
