DreamRemedies
Please help - I have seen many threads on this topic but none of the actions / replies have worked - we have tried everything we can find so far. Our site has crashed and there does not seem to be a clear fix - All our site displays is this error message: Invalid loadConfiguration() SQL query We have checked the sys config file and checked all the db names, user names and passwords - all are correct. We created a new SQL database file and pointed the sys file at the new database and still the same error message - so it does not seem to be the SQL db that is the fault. The site is: http://dreamremedies.com/ It has run profitably for a long time with no problems and now we have been down for one day. We will be very grateful for the communities support. Thanks Jeremy Edited January 30, 2013 by DreamRemedies (see edit history)
DreamRemedies
We have just had an update from heartinternet Looking into this for you, it would appear that your databases were empty, so prestashop did not have any data to run. I have enquired with our systems administrators and we did not have any my sql issues earlier which would explain the missing data. Please be aware that the My SQL service can be restarted at any point by our systems administrators either for maintainence or to remove a stuck query. The restart itself does not affect the database but would clear queries in memory. I cannot say why you databases were empty however as a gesture of good will, I have restored these from the disaster recovery backup we took at 4am this morning. The site is now visible again. Overnight the SQL database data disappeared and so the site went down. Has anyone else had a similar experience - its a little bit worrying. Very glad to be operational again.
