[solved] Featured products: width of each item

Hi everybody,

 

I'm now 2 days working with Prestashop and with the tips and trics on the forum everything went well,

but now I can't move on...

 

I have one central column with a featured product list with 6 items, I want that the 6 items together have the same width of the whole central column, the result now is that the picures are bigger but I can see them half in the "original sized product item".

 

What I'm doing wrong? I've found a few trics but for < 1.5

Well, you'll need to edit the css AND tpl files for this, the first one to define the width of each element, the latter for defining how many items must fit inside a row For the pictures, you can change the size for home_default in the back office->preferences->images

Yep.

Can't remember by heart, but it should be something likne "NbItems" in the tpl file (smarty variable assigned with some math at the beginning of the file. The default is 4) and the "li" items in the css. Sorry, I can't check it now and i don't recall it by heart

Already changed that to 6 but there is still place for 7 products,

 

the 6 products don't become larger to use the space of 7 normal sized products...

If you want the 6 blocks to be larger, you have to change their fixed width in the homefeatured.css file, line 1 (just inspected with chrome dev tools)

One small question, how to make the (withe) space between each product a little bit larger so its "filled out"?
