kansas3d
Hi everyone, when I'm trying to delete SMTP user and SMTP password in the Email Settings (Back Office > Preferences > Email) and going on SAVE the settings are still staying the same. (See picture) I can't delete them. When deleting them and clicking on save they appear again. Only when I type in a different SMTP user and leave the SMTP password empty, the SMTP password stays empty and the username switches to the new one. But when I'm deleting both settings and going on SAVE, the old settings are appearing again. Does anyone know how to fix this? Maybe I can empty it with FTP. Does anyone know where? mayal
Hi, I have exactly the same problem. Have you manage to solve the problem? Thanx
El Patron
my guess? you would at a min. need to set the php option before you could 'blank' out the smtp settings. I can see where ps would not allow blanks settings with smtp set. if you want to manually modify the settings, my understanding is that they are in your mysql db, table configuration. kansas3d
I couldn't solve this problem sorry. I gave up after trying for a long while. Maybe manual modifying in the database can help like eTiendas.co is mentioning it.
mayal
Thank you both for your replies. Unfortunately, I don't have an access to database . However, if I manage to solve something I'll write it here.
