I also tried finding a solution from previous post with no success. (may be I am not doing it right or novice enough to do it right) I have two major requirement. I am attaching the screenshots. pic 1: the product image is overshooting the display area. pic 2: need to change the thumbnail size of the product. tried the preference-->images tab with various permutation and combination, it didnt work(or i may be doing it wrong) It will be very helpful, if someone can explain what exactly the preference-->images tool does. yaniv14 Posted January 26, 2013 Share Posted January 26, 2013 It will be very helpful, if someone can explain what exactly the preference-->images tool does. What it does basically is when you upload an image to back office, the image is being duplicated/resized to all image preferences sizes. So when you upload an image, you will have -> the original image + image(small_default) + image(large_default) + etc..... and on different pages/modules you are able to load exact image you want based on the size. Now if you changed preference sizes or added new preferences images you will need to regenerate all images again. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
