tannerS Posted January 25, 2013 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Well, Prestashop already has multiple image sizes on the image page. Its best to purchase a decent photo/paint program from Adobe etc. Then set a basic size. For product pics my master size is 600x600 for the enlarged product pics and the shop down sizes from there for thumbs etc. I use 245x245 on product pages. But the image sizes must all be of the same ratio. I use square 1:1 images for my products and the other modules vary in size as needed to fill the space. So, Prestashop already sizes images. But, the image has to be large enough for the biggest size and it has to maintain the same ratio, 600x600 can be 300x300 to 245x245 all the way down to 100x100 etc. My catagory pics do stray a bit in the small thumbs but, the white background blends in and you can't tell the size ratio is off.
