helpmeplease
Hi, I'm just upgrading a customers Prestashop site from 1.3.1 to 1.4.8.2 (couldn't quite take the plunge to 1.5!) I'm doing a test run on a spare directory just to make sure this works. I've followed the normal procedure for upgrading - eg. copying the key folders, the existing database and updating the settings.inc.php file with the new database details. Actioned the upgrade and get the message your shop is now 1.4.8.2 - green smiley faces up till now. However it's saying there are 19 SQL errors or to be precise 'Unfortunately, 19 SQL errors have occurred' Everything else looks fine - obviously I'm a little concerned about these SQL errors. I've read that some errors are quite normal...and wont affect the future running of the shop. It all looks a bit scarey as I don't understand SQL at all! Could someone take a look at the attached install log it generated showing the errors? install log.txt Thanks in advance, Best wishes Brian Edited January 26, 2013 by helpmeplease (see edit history)
helpmeplease
Hi, Quick update - I've changed my database user settings - it looks like it was a permissions issue that was generating the errors. Installed perfectly this time - no SQL errors! Thank goodness! Brian
