Installing Autoupgrade module - no modules displayed

Hi all,

 

I'm trying to upgrade an existing 1.3.1 site to 1.5. One of the motivating factors is that the existing site has the missing admin modules error (same as this thread - http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/71419-no-modules-please-help/). Due to this problem, I can't install the Autoupgrade module. Is there a way to install it manually, or is there an easier way to upgrade the site?

Hi nostradamnit,

 

Yesterday I did a 1.3.7 to 1.5.3 upgrade:

1. First I did a manual upgrade from 1.3.x to 1.4.9. Click here for a guide on manually upgrading.
   
2. Then I used the newest autoupgrade tool to do the 1.4.9 to 1.5.3 autoupgrade.
   

 

You can probably just go straight from 1.3 to 1.5 via the guide.
