Changing Header Logo in theme

Complete newbie here - have installed my bought theme on Prestashop and am now trying to change the logo on the main page header to my own logo.

 

Have tried the Preferences>Themes>Appearance> option, but new logo only displays if using the DEFAULT theme, not in my uploaded theme.

 

I am assuming I need to go and change something in the backoffice - can anyone pls spell it out for me? Where, what and how to do this?

Did you make sure the NEW theme is highlighted? I had that happen to me before. Also, when you upload some themes, they have their own module for installing logos. If the correct theme is highlighted in Preferences>Themes>Appearance> and yyou still have that problem, then I suggest that you do a search for the "LOGO" module or whatever name your new theme might be using . Let me know if it works for you

I facing the same problem, I bought a template from template monster and after installed, I tried the same way to change the website logo, but its not working, the new theme is highlighted thou ... wonder how @_@

maybe logo is hardcoded inside the theme files? or you need to change logo in other way (like module from template monster)
