Softaculous upgrading prestashop 1.5.2 to 1.5.3.1

Recommended Posts

When i login to the shop it advises me to upgrade to 1.5.3 but i already did this

Via Softaculous

it thinks im on 1.5.3.1

I did have some issues with update i had to delete a install file or something and then rename the adminfolder. Any ideas why the shop install still thinks its on 1.5.2?

Thanks

Sorted this out

used the auto upgrade module named

1-click Upgrade

This was perfect......Always backup your entire site

Im now in a dilemma....at next upgrade should I NOT upgrade Softaculous and only use this module

Ill keep this thread open and let everyone know as it might help anyone whos webhost uses Softaculous.

I'm happy you got this solved and thank the upgrade module worked for you. Usually this method is preferred for more simple upgrades.
