But you can't add products that way - only subcategories... The only options available in Categories are "Edit" the category or "add" a sub-category. There is no option to "add" a product to the category?!? In any event it would still be tedious to have to keep switching back and forth between categories when adding a lot of products (as we are doing at the moment - adding all the stock in preparation for going live - hopefully!). tannerS Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) Mine doesn't default to a category unless I'm duplicating an existing product that has the associations checked. The associations match what I'm duplicating or they are all unchecked if I'm adding from a new one. "Add New" gives me a clean slate. Perhaps all the categories are subs of the default Home? I've broken up main categories under the default Home category because I did not want everything branching of the Home button.. So, maybe I won't see the same thing.
