Newsletter activation e-mail after subscription and privacy checkbox

Hi all. I'm running into the problem to get an activation link to those who want to subscribe to the newsletter. At the moment, when you insert your e-mail in the block newsletter and you sign up, you get the e-mail confirmation without an activation link. In this way, anyone can subscribe anyone to newsletter. Another problem is the checkbox for the privacy that is not present, but required by law (in some country I think). Does someone come across these problems recently? If so, how did you solve? (add-ons, modifications, etc. ...)
