Title of the home page is not showing

Hi everyone

I have a wired problem in my site.The home page of my site is not showing title. It shows only store name but not the whole title as inserted in the back end in seo and url section.

The store is http://www.kathmanduclothing.com

The whole title tag is changed and in the Google SERP i cannot see the title tag and meta description inserted in the index.php page which is in seo and url section of preference category of the back end.

try this, check that your themes/yourthemename/header.tpl

 

you should see code like this at the top:

 <title>{$meta_title|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}</title>
{if isset($meta_description) AND $meta_description}
 <meta name="description" content="{$meta_description|escape:html:'UTF-8'}" />
{/if}

 

you can also look at the deafult ps theme...you may need to debug it to see if the value is passed

Thanks for reply but the problem is sorted out. Actually the problem was in a code which was used to remove duplicate meta description by adding number in it . The bad code disappeared my title tags and other pages title tags but when i removed that code the title tag came back again.

Now it's all ok

Hello There, 


 


I have one issue in my site. My site is running properly from 2 month. But now i have one issue. My site is http://www.slmobileprice.com


, in my site Title is not showing on home page at the top ..also not in any product page (its showing like - http://slmobileprice...roller=product)while in meta title i have added full details in all products before 2 days its working properly and showing product title on the top . So please suggest me what can i do..how to fix it .please reply me as soon as possible.

No.. Friendly url is disabled. its disable since i have created my site means from 2 month. but from yesterday i am not getting product title on my site.


 


i am using prestashop v1.5.6 English.
