Menus error/transparent

Hello,

 

I recently installed a new template on my prestashop. Its been working fine apart from one small problem. When you go on a menu a part of it becomes transparent making it difficult to read the category.

If you move the cursor over the menu and then over any sub category you would see the problem.

Am not a programming guy. I did hire a freelancer to adapt to the new template.

 

Is there an easy fix to this problem that can be made over the dashboard/admin settings.
