ricky11
Using the default theme in 1.5, how do i remove the search bar entirely, or re-position it elsewhere in the header? Do i have to use hooks? Thanks.
Alex Simonchik BelVG
Hi, seem that you will need to customize "blocksearch" module Regards

Alex Simonchik BelVG
This module uses hooks: top, header and displayMobileTopSiteMap. You can change it for uses another hooks or edit blocksearch-top.tpl or blocksearch.tpl
ricky11
Hi Alex, So i can remove modules in two ways, one is to remove the hook (i.e. remove the visual part) and another is to directly remove the code form the tpl file? So if i want to remove the cart block in the header, i can remove the cartblock hook from modules right? or how else?

andyliniacre
Hi can i keep the search bar but remove the all categories drop down next to it, as this doesn't work? Also, is it possible to edit the green username on the top right hand side? The web developer spelt my name wrong and its bugging me. Thanks Andy Edited September 8, 2016 by andyliniacre (see edit history)
