Search/View the products based on multiple search criteria

Hi,

Is there a way a customer can search/view Products from multiple categories, manufacturers/ features/ price range together.
eg. If a customer wants to see desktops, laptops and phones from Apple, Acer and Sony together on one screen.
Normally, how this happens on some of the websites is:
The customer choses Suppliers by selecting checkboxes for suppliers, and choses the products by selecting checkboxes for products. The same thing is done for selecting products according to budget, or specifications or features etc.

In other words, can a customer search the products based on multiple search criteria?

Can this thing be done in Prestashop.
If not fully, can it be done partially using a workaround or code changes??
Any suggestions will be appreciated..

You can use the Layered block module. It filters with Category and price ranges as well.
