Deleted countries, replace through SQL?

Recommended Posts

You shouldn't fool around with Backoffice when tired. I did. Now I accidently deleted the countries list. The site is about to go live pretty soon, so I'm in a bit of hurry.

I just bought Windows 8, and haven't got WAMP Server or similar running yet, otherwise I could perhaps just have made a clean install on that, and figured out how to just copy that to my site through phpMyAdmin.

So, my thing is: COULD someone be a wonderful lifesaver, and prepare a .txt-file for me (or whatever) to run in SQL (successfully done so in Wordpress earlier, so I guess I'd make it), to replace the deleted countries? That person would have a star in the sky named by their name. So, please. Help.

Yes I use latest version.

Thank you for your time, but I suspected that importing localization wouldn't do the trick; I tried now and it didn't. Sadly enough. :-/

strange that does not work...as I just tested it and you are right...does not work....

pm me you email address and I can email you the .sql file to import as the forum will not allow me to upload and attach a .sql file.

You sent me states instead countries hehehe... But I am very thankful that you took actions at least. I did solve this, I installed Prestashop locally on a computer at the network at my job, and just exported it to my Dropbox, and fist thing when I got home was to successfully import/overwrite the existing table.

So, problem solved, And again, thank you very much! ;)

Bocko solved differently than what I tried to help with.

Follow Bocko's advice...

if not able to to this, what is your ps version?  what is it that you are missing?  I will see if I can dump the sql tables for you.

Did you try importing the country information you  wanted using backoffice-->localizatoin-->localization and import the pack 'parts or whole' that you wanted?
