ldon
Hello, I've tried to test the multistore module and I've found a huge problem. It doesn't matter in which shop you buy a product, you'll always get an order confirmation or any automatic e-mails from the main shop. If you'll go to an order history and you'll want to ADD A MESSAGE you will not send a message to the shop you have placed an order in, but you'll actualy send a message to the main shop so an employee managing one shop will wait for your message, but he will not get at all ) It doesn't work at all. El Patron
Did you set up your email by shop? For example you can define by shop each individual email address to use. In other words you need to configure mail alerts for each indivdual shop. Simply go to modules-->mail alerts-->configure and then set the shop to configure....and configure it This is also true for default shop email, via preferences-->store contacts (scroll down to contact details). Here you set up the default email by shop. Edited January 14, 2013 by elpatron (see edit history)
Mario_p
Doesn't work your suggestion. In theory should works but not.Email notification (order or contact form) still sent to email in first shop. When answered no answer delivered. I seen couple topics with same issue. I would expect to set up smtp settings at advanced parameters > email but can't change anything.
elektrojo
you are right the E-mail configuration in Advanced Parameters dont allow separate configuration for stores even in prestashop 1.
El Patron
you are right the E-mail configuration in Advanced Parameters dont allow separate configuration for stores even in prestashop 1.6 you could try copying emails from root mails to your themes/yourtheme/mails. then xlate by theme not core-no theme. this assumes of course you have different theme per shop.
