Upgrade 1.4.9 to 1.5.3 (BO fine, FO no structure)

Hi,

I have tried to upgrade my Prestashop 1.4.9 to 1.5.3 manually on a local server. The Back office seems to show everything very well, but the Front Office is completely white with only links and without any css. It does not matter what theme I choose and if I click any of these links I get a 404 not found error.

Have you cleared your browser cache and switched on force compile and off cache?

 

For 404 errors have you regenerated the htaccess?

For the first tip, that didnt help. There is no css at all yet.

 

The second one didnt work as well, at least if turning Friendly URL on and off is enough for regenerating the htaccess. What I did notice is that while I created the folder prestashop-prep, if I click for example Accesories, it does not go to http://127.0.0.1/prestashop-prep/nl/3-accessories but to http://127.0.0.1/nl/3-accessories instead. Changing this manually does not help. Also if I click for example to direct to http://127.0.0.1/prestashop-prep/contact-form.php it does redirect to http://127.0.0.1/nl/contact-us but it still gives a 404 error.
