ie9 bug on login page

my login page looks messed up on ie9. can't figure out whats going on here as it's fine on chrome and the rest of the webpage is fine. tried replace authentication.tpl from default theme to see if it was theme issue. same issue happens!

 

help please! why does IE always drive me nuts on making websites! why!

IE does cause confusions especially if involved HTML5 and some other coding such as CSS3. Windows 8, IE10 does not improved too much at least at the moment. So, for a built web, you better to test all the five main browsers, -- for ensuing if your site is functioning well on all the 5 browsers. While If it is only IE, then it may not be your fault. The around 500 HTML5 features, IE matches around 55% which is the lowest one. Per the friends in MS, they say they are catching up..., Do not know if Win7 browser will have chance to upgrade to IE10.

This post was the only one I could find of the forum re IE10. Before I could only login on this forum site by not using IE but on the new PS version 1.5.4.1 I cannot login on admin using IE10 (I run Win7 64). Is this only me or ...
