gamejacker
My shop is set at gbp GREAT BRITISH POUNDSsomebody today paid in Euros which it calculated yet when they paid it came back as Payment Error, because the shop thought they had paid too much for example the product was £3.00 and they paid in €'s so the amount in € (euros) came to €3.66 (3 euro's 66 cents) which was the equivelent in payment for £.300 GBP but the shop took it as they had paid too much and called the €3.66 as £3.66 Any ideas why it would think that or if anyone else has had this problem is there a fix?i hope somebody will answer this post as i see many many posts left idle and deserted many thanks

gamejacker
on trying to adjust the currencies i came acrross an error 'Hack attempt (Currency -> sign = €)' when i tried to either delete or update the currencies and because i dont want me or my customers to get that paypal error again i decided to remove all other currencies from the list and just leave the £ because paypal will automatically convert them in their account.I followed another thread in here and did the same as they did when they had a similar error and in my phpadmin i went to the database and went to ps_currencies and set the “deleted” field to 1 for the Euro and dollar so now hopefully it will only accept GBP and then i will not get that error againon another note my default country was also set to france for some reason .many thanks to Snol for having a look at my problem
