Bonals
I upgraded my prestashop yesterday and now when I try to login to the admin panel with the administrator account I keep getting redirected to the login page. When I enter anything wrong I get a wrong password or wrong user message but when the info is right instead of loging into the back office I get redirected to the login page again. benjamin utterback
HI Bonals, what version did you upgrade from? What version did you upgrade to? Have you tried using all browsers? Clearing cache and cookies?
Bonals
I upgraded from 1.4.3 to 1.5.3. I have cleared cookies and cache, and used multiple browsers, chrome, ie, opera and firefox.
benjamin utterback
Hi, thanks for the information. How did you go about upgrading your version? One click- or manually?
Bonals
One click. The major issue is that the website is still in maintenance mode and we are unable to sell.
benjamin utterback
Hi Bonals, I understand. Did you follow this guide? http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Automatic+update If so, then your store should not be down, as you would have copied your store and done a test upgrade to see what kind of problems you encounter before upgrading the live store. It is on the first page in a big red box. I would revert to your backup you did before the upgrade, in order to get your shop online again. I would then upgrade from 1.4.3 to 1.4.9 and then upgrade from 1.4.9-1.5.3.1 (all on test domains with your copied store first)
Bonals
What is the process for doing that?
benjamin utterback
For which part? To revert to the backup? You have a backup of your database and PrestaShop files from before you did the upgrade right?
Bonals
I do have a backup of the database and the files. Don't know how to begin the revert process.
Xavier Borderie
Hello Bonals, I have published this documentation page yesterday: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Making+and+restoring+your+own+backup Let me know if that helps, and how I can improve it.
