Can create new files and folders ? error with Easily

Hi guys please help.

 

I am not a novice but am also not a professional, so an advanced beginner, I am trying to install the latest Prestashop on my new Linux server with Easily, and everything was good until the second part of the installation where PHP parameters: came up with a couple of errors which a quick change to the PHP.ini file overcame, but one persists and it is so annoying, and the help desk at Easily are being very slow and not helpful, so they are just a desk really.

 

"Can Create new files and folders" comes up with a big red X.

 

I have followed the documentation and have changed all the Attribute permissions on all the files and folders on the server to CHMOD 775 and then CHMOD 777, but it still wont budge past this error.

Interestingly when I go back into the folder and look at the attributes again they are back at the original 750, so I am not sure if it is even changing them despite Filezilla saying that it is all successful. Am I missing something?

Some real help from you guys is needed, please it is driving me mad, and I cant seem to work past it.

Hi just in case anybody has a similar problem when uploading the installation I have solved the issue.

 

In the php.ini file on the server they had written in

 

disable_functions = chmod

 

and Filezilla was saying that everything was done until i accessed and everything was the same, so this was removed until the install was complete and now I shall look at putting it back provided it does not cause issues to the system running.
