Add text to the center column [SOLVED]

Okay I'm probably v. dense for not getting this but

 

 

Which file should I edit to add some text/images to the center column of my homepage?

 

What I need is to display 5 or 6 top brands in the center column, including their logo. I've looked for some modules but they aren't exactly what I'm looking for.

so, you want to add stuff into center column just on homepage or for each page on your shop?

 

if you want to add it only into center column, you can use our free solution: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/189039-module-html-box-for-free/ or edit EDITORIAL module in your prestashop back office

 

second option is more complicated, because you must check your template source and edit tpl files. You can also use our solution.

You can use the Home text editor and add HTML code to show text and pictures.
