How to remove (tax excl.) from shipping cost on the shipping page

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

While ordering on my shop when the shipping page displays the carrier options to choose from all the price appears with (tax excl.). I want to either remove it completely or show it as (tax incl.)

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for the response,

Tax is disabled for both products and shipping. Under carriers the tax option is selected as "No Tax" and thats the only option probably because i have disabled tax under localization. So if i keep the tax disabled shipping would show me as (tax excl.) ?

Thanks,

Binesh

Hi all... I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this. But... here goes...

We've setup a prestashop store for a client who will ship from Canada only to Canada. The store is version 1.4.10.0. We're having tax issues (isn't everyone!). The reason I'm posting here is because one of the tax problems we're having is that, even though I've enabled tax on shipping in both carriers (set "Tax" to "CA Standard Rate"), when a customer goes to checkout and after entering their destination, the tax is ONLY calculated on the product and NOT on the shipping as well.

The client is using Canada Post as his only carrier and only Regular and Expedited are enabled. If anyone can clue me in, I'd greatly appreciate it. We've been trying to launch the client's Canadian store for almost 6 months and have had nothing but problems with the taxes.

As an aside, for some reason, no matter what the destination, the shipping cost is always exactly the same for both Expedited and Regular!? Any suggestions...

Thanks, in advance,

Clem

Hey Clem, it would really help alot if you would stop posting this same problem in multiple threads. We don't expect you to be an expert on Prestashop but proper forum etiquette is a skill you should have picked up by now.

Has the advice I gave you in one of the other threads helped, or maybe you have lost track and didn't see it?
