bluesbrother
EDIT: after solving this: read until end before taking action. I was looking for an solution for the missing module ganalytics in PS 1.5. I did not find it. So what i did: I looked up the header.tpl of the theme i am using and as instructed by Google i paste the code just before the closing tag. This seems to work fine. Or am i missing something ? El Patron
it not really missing, back office-->modules-->(in search bar type analytics) http://screencast.com/t/W2h4BpIJMM select analytic s and it will be installed from the addons'.... it's best to use the module so you don't lose the change above when you say implement a new template or more importantly you want different analytics by shop... bluesbrother
I am not seeing it. I have searched for the module in the module place you say but nothing. Not Analytics for eCommerce and not ganalytics. I am working with: PrestaShop™ 1.5.3.1 Edit: I tried it in the demo here on the website. And it is in there. mmmm How can it be that it is gone? And how do i get it back?. I also just installed a local fresh downloaded copy of PS and it is also in there. If i search the directory it is in, it is not there. If i search within files for the text "ganalytics". I get nothing. Where can i restore it without installing the whole shop? benjamin utterback
Hi bluesbrother. That is strange because the module is present in the download of 1.5.3.1. Under Modules I searched analytics and I was able to see ganalytics and then install it.

Not Analytics for eCommerce and not ganalytics. I am working with: PrestaShop™ 1.5.3.1 that's odd...works on all the 1.5 including 1.5.3.1 that I've created for others...both localhost and remote...maybe try typing ganalytics
bluesbrother
It is my problem See my edited earlier post .
El Patron
you won't find it in your fresh installed module directory...new with 1.5 is installing modules from the prestashop repository...so it's not really part of the ps zip installation. i suppose to get it into the site you are experiencing the problem with would be to install on your local fresh copy....copy that module file to your problem site.... bluesbrother
Yes this worked! I removed the code from my header.php and use no the module. I think i goofed when i was deleting stuff in the life edit modus and deleted the module. Is solved thus.

ciovi
Hi at all. I have the same problem: i don't have the ganalytics module within the modules section. I also have ps 1.5 and curl disabled on the server for Security policy. Can you link me a Zip file to download it? Thanks in advance.
