crumptees
I am trying to link to a certain product that I have displayed on the slide show, but TM Nivo Slider will not accept the product url and just deletes the whole slide when I try to save. Original product url is index.php?id_product=1&controller=product and I get errors every time I try to input the url in that sequence. (Your links file is empty) error Does anyone have a solution to this?

cammo
I had the same problem.. I tried emptying the cache via ftp before each update to the settings and it seemed to work, but the module is buggy. Sometimes I'd have 5 slides in there, go back in to edit 1 and it would wipe the whole lot with the same error message.

Herland
I have the same problem, please TM give us a solution!
Herland
I found the solution. On Slide URL you have to put what comes after your site. If you want to link so a category with id 7, just put category.php?id_category=7 I did that and problem solved
Mugatu
I found the solution. On Slide URL you have to put what comes after your site. If you want to link so a category with id 7, just put category.php?id_category=7 I did that and problem solved Great thanks for this, I've been looking around everywhere to solve this and quite simple. As you mentioned I just literally copy and pasted your, "category.php?id_category=7" changed category from 7 to 87 (which was the category I wanted shown) and worked straight away. parts411test
Sorry to bring back an old thread, but Im also having this problem. When I add the URL "id_category=59&controller=category" I get an error and it deletes my slider images all together. I have some slides that are individual products, and some that are product categories. Any help would be appreciated!
rgwhitaker
I'm having the same problem. Who is the developer of TM Nivo Slider? I'd like to contact them regarding this. I can't change my link. And I'm not linking to a category, so I can't put category=x in my link.
