Fatal error in module Unk ?

Recommended Posts

I get the message in the bottom of the backend in the modules >> modules screen.

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module Unk:

Directive 'magic_quotes_gpc' is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater

I have searched for such an module but can not find it.

Anyone an idea what this could be ?

I have searched here and with google but no results.

Having the same problem... anyone got a solution for this please?

I have a hunch it's a hosting problem cause I cant even edit the Modules Translations cause the hosting company won't raise the suhosin limit and I also get a Syntax Error while trying to upload images via TinyMCE.

I'm guessing I'm not the only one with these problems, right?

Hi guys

I was trying to upload Nova 1.5 add on and got this above message so I contacted the developer of Nova 1.5 and within 30 min he had it all sorted it was caused by a hosting issue to do with the PHP version needing to be reset.

So a very big thank you to Jiri at [email protected] for fixing something that was not his problem

I used the php.ini in this thread http://www.prestasho...p-magic-quotes/

But i put the file in the prestashop root directory and in the admin directory, and then checked

Advanced Parameters separator_breadcrumb.png Configuration Information

And in the box Kontrollera din konfiguration (Check you confi in english?)

It should that requierd and optiona paramters is OK.

Before I did that, it said optional paramters was error, and it was magicqoutes

*Edit*

The actual message is mostlikly Module Unknown, not module Unk

Hey,

Thank you for your feedback, I just experienced the same error with a store hosted by NameCheap.

I resolved it by downgrading to PHP 5.2, adding the following code snippet in the .htaccess:

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php52 .php

We will find a proper way to resolve it before v1.5.4, a report was also posted here (and will be re-opened + fixed):

http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-7521

Regards,
