dpcdpc11
Having the same problem... anyone got a solution for this please? I have a hunch it's a hosting problem cause I cant even edit the Modules Translations cause the hosting company won't raise the suhosin limit and I also get a Syntax Error while trying to upload images via TinyMCE. I'm guessing I'm not the only one with these problems, right?

Harry999
Fatal error[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module Unk: Directive 'magic_quotes_gpc' is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater Hi guys I was trying to upload Nova 1.5 add on and got this above message so I contacted the developer of Nova 1.5 and within 30 min he had it all sorted it was caused by a hosting issue to do with the PHP version needing to be reset. So a very big thank you to Jiri at [email protected] for fixing something that was not his problem http://addons.presta...4-Nova-1-5.html
Torbz
It's an optional choice for the configuration of your server's PHP usage. I don't have magic quotes switched off, and hence I guess, I get this message? Who knows? ...is it actually a problem?
PhpMadman
I used the php.ini in this thread http://www.prestasho...p-magic-quotes/ But i put the file in the prestashop root directory and in the admin directory, and then checked Advanced Parameters Configuration Information And in the box Kontrollera din konfiguration (Check you confi in english?) It should that requierd and optiona paramters is OK. Before I did that, it said optional paramters was error, and it was magicqoutes *Edit* The actual message is mostlikly Module Unknown, not module Unk Edited January 23, 2013 by PhpMadman (see edit history)
Bruno Leveque
Hey, Thank you for your feedback, I just experienced the same error with a store hosted by NameCheap. I resolved it by downgrading to PHP 5.2, adding the following code snippet in the .htaccess: AddHandler application/x-httpd-php52 .php We will find a proper way to resolve it before v1.5.4, a report was also posted here (and will be re-opened + fixed): http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-7521 Regards,
