drslim
Hi, I am new to prestashop. We have a 12 year old, well ranking website which was written in NetObjects Fusion. The index.html page is in the root directory ie www.domainname.co.uk/index.html. Unfortunately all other product pages are in a different directory called /html/ ie www.domainname.co.uk/html/page-name.html I would like to copy all our current pages content into prestashop but is it possible to change the page paths in prestashop so that they remain the same in order not to lose years of history & good page rankings? Thanks
Dh42
Not really, but you can use 301 redirects and it will not hurt your search ranking.
drslim
Ok, what about if I install prestashop in the /html/ directory and then create an index.html for the root folder to link through to the prestashop pages in the /html/ directory. Would prestashop still work well with this setup in terms of functionality etc?
