tdr170
You will need to send this to GoDaddy they need to edit your PHP.ini file. I recently installed Prestashop on a GoDaddy acount and found issues with their hosting. Had lots of issues with Friendly URL's so I just disabled it and moved on. You can try this its a php5.ini file created for the GoDaddy account I created but you may have other issues. Simply upload this to the root folder. (rename to php5.ini can not upload .ini files) Edited December 28, 2012 by tdr170 (see edit history)

benjamin utterback
Hello Hugol, there has been some issues concerning godaddy and server configuration, especially with friendly URL's, as tdr170 mentioned. It may be a good idea to look for other more compatible servers.
somits1
Hi, This is somit using prestashop v1.5.6 English version. and my website is http://www.slmobileprice.com I am trying to configure Performance - Ciphering option but getting error - The PHP "Mcrypt" extension is not activated on this server. Could you please tell me how to enable Rijndael with mcrypt lib. Mcrypt is faster than our custom BlowFish class, but requires the PHP extension "mcrypt". If you change this configuration, all cookies will be reset. Algorithm Use Rijndael with mcrypt lib. Keep the custom BlowFish class.

Simonas Invertus
You should ask your server administrator to install mcrypt for your php.

Simonas Invertus
Short answer is - NO. Long answer is... You need to have administrator rights to configure php.ini file which I am guessing you can not do. If you do, then the answer depends on your server OS. In that case enter google '[your server OS] mcrypt php' and you will find solution that works.
