theredladybug
Im trying to install the: http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/prestashop-free-modules/45-facebook-like-button.html Facebook Like module. Presto-Changeo offers a video on how to upload both ways, through your back office and through your FTP server. I have completed BOTH these ways. I never get an error message (it always tells me "Module downloaded successfully" but yet when I look in my backoffice under modules, it still does not come up. This happened to me on another module I was trying to upload as well. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

tdr170
This module creates a new tab under modules Social Networks are you not seeing that tab.
theredladybug
I'm about to contact Presto but No tdr170, nothing comes up but I do always get the successfully installed message. I have searched everywhere to see if others have this problem but it seems for everyone else the process is extremely simple and works fine. tdr170
Yes that seems to be the case I installed without any issues, are you using a custom theme or the default.
theredladybug
I have yet to heard from Presto-- TDR170-- i'm using a custom theme, does this matter?
tdr170
Possibly try uploading the module with FTP to the ..themes/yourtheme/modules folder.
theredladybug
So it turns out as I was looking more closely into my folders, it seems the guy who put together my website did not create a new theme. He just changed around codes from prestashops original theme. I tried uploading via FTP the facebook add-on in several diff. locations that seemed possible, still nothing worked. Could a code be messed up? I changed permissions and this did not work either.
tdr170
Have you tried to install any other modules and is this the only one you have had trouble with.
theredladybug
Ive tried uploading only 1 other module and that one did the same thing. (i'd try more, but I dont need anything else) I'm going out of my mind trying to figure what it could be. I've looked within so many codes, nothing seems to be out of place.
