Why is the euro symbol at the rear of the price?

I would like it at the front, anybody know how to do it, I presume it's in the php.

Because it is usual in many countries to do so.

You can change the format via :

 

Payment > Currencies > Euro > Format

this is what I want the currency to look like 400. 56.00 etc

with the symbol at the begining.

Simple all you do when adding new currency is select either x0,000,00 (as with dollars) or x0,000,00 from the formatting dropdown  8)
