1.5.2 HTTP 500 Internal Server error

Upgraded to Prestashop 1.5.2 today via Softaculous utility on webhost cpanel.

 

Am now receiving HTTP 500 Internal Server error with the following back office links:

 

Administration

• Permissions
  

Advanced Parameters

• Menu
  

Modules

• Modules
  
• Positions
  
• Payment
  

Other functions seem to be working OK and up until upgrade, the above were also working fine.

 

FYI, using Velvet Sky theme.

 

NOTE: site is in development and not active.

 

We are new to Prestashop and any advice on how to resolve would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have access to your admin panel?

 

If you do, go to: Tools -> Generators and generate a new .htaccess file.

 

This worked for me when I had the same issue.
