Big Issues : item not removed from cart after purchase by credit card or confirm order

Hi All,

 

Very big issues and interesting that I searched on net about this I did get any discussion.

 

The problem is in version 1.4x that when buyer process payment and made payment by any payment gateway or paypal and return back to the site the cart STILL showing that ITEM/ PRODUCT which user was actually bought.

 

Though on 1.5x its had fixed and working nicely. No items after made payment and return to the site.

 

Can you any one help me to fixed this in 1.4, this is very much important for me now.
