papagino Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 Hi all, I have a Prestashop shop where I have setup groups for regular customers and retailers so that the retailers (Resellers) can also order my products online. Basically, when a retailer login, the website shows the retailer’s cost prices instead of the retail prices. (This is done using the “Specific prices” feature of the Product in the Back Office for particular groups). This is all working fine, but what I am trying to accomplish is to have a different CMS Block for the resellers, so that when they login, the content of the CMS Block would be specific for those resellers (Group). I know I can restrict modules by groups in the back office under “Customers > Groups > Edit”. I would need to duplicate the CMS Block module and rename it to something like Resellers Block or something like it. I tried duplicating the CMS Block Module, renaming all files names and contents using find and replace function for all: CMS to RESELLERS cms to resellers Cms to Resellers I installed the new created module named RESELLERS Block but when I clicked on Configure then on Add New, the drop down list for “CMS category :” was blank (Usually show Home). For this reason, I cannot create a new CMS Block. Also, there was no tab under Preference that referred to the new Resellers Block module, only the original CMS tab. The problem that I have is that I am not sure what need to be edited on the duplicate module... Does anyone knows how to successfully duplicate the CMS Block Module?
