spuhg
Where is the actual multi-store in that demo? Where can I actually enter into each separate multi-store? Thanks! HandCraft
A good question but sadly not answered by experts. This is the main problem with presta forum. Where is the actual multi-store in that demo? Where can I actually enter into each separate multi-store? Thanks!
spuhg
Hopefully, there will be a demo that let users test the ability to go into each separate multi-store, incidently, I have a funny feeling this functionality doesn't actually work properly, when hearing the feedback of other users. cantcloseaccount
Login into the demo site link provided above, Go to "preferences", "general" and "enable multishop" Then go to Advanced parameters and set up another shop. Then you can play around with how multistore works in the back end, but the front end didn't seem to work in the demo. I've just been working on my first multistore shop and it isn't bombproof but has some great functionality. nreal-mi
I don't understand how multistore concept work. It ask for url of next store that means we have to provide another file structure I guess. Its like installing 2 prestashop seperately . Then each have their own admin why we require multistore. nreal-mi
Hello El Patron Thanks for your quick reply. I have read that doc. Now what I am confuse is we have 2 prestashop installation each have its own admin(back office) If we use one of back office to enable multistore feature then what about default admin(back office) for another prestashop installation Do we have to delete it or how to make it work. Thanks Edited January 28, 2015 by nreal-mi (see edit history)
El Patron
when you create the 2nd shop from one installation, then you must also define all the products categories etc. If you already have two shops then you would need to import that information or use other means to create that 2nd shop. it may not be worth the effort to do this, only you can decide.
